I love Anthropologie… but there stuff can be a bit pricey. :(
And like a lot of other people out there I am on a tight budget when it comes to fashion.
That is where being crafty like myself comes in very handy :)
Take these super cute hair ties….I love them but $12 for 5…come on.
I was in downtown LA and found the exact stuff (elastic trim) they use to make these and you get 4 yards for only $1. So I can get at least 6 hair ties or 3 of the headband for a way better price and there are so many more colors!
All you need to do it cut the elastic what ever length you need. For mine I did 6” for the hair ties and about 23” for the head bands.
Then all you do is tie it in a knot, that’s it.
If you want you can also singe the edges of the elastic for a clean edge..if you do please be careful it is fire after all.
